Through his work with Housing and Urban Development, both on the local and state level, and his efforts in recent years as director of the Talladega Housing Authority, Heaton has touched lives.
So when the Alabama Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities sought to recognize someone for the organization’s first ever President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Heaton was a natural choice.
The prestigious award was earned by a man who has been a strong voice for housing authority advocacy. And we commend him on the work he has done to make the housing authority a viable and vital entity in the community.
