Former Lincoln officer found guilty

A Talladega County jury has convicted former Lincoln Police Sgt. Kevin Wade Jung of the murder of Wayne Earl Ellis in June 2003. Jung will be sentenced Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. by Circuit Judge Bo Hollingsworth. He faces 10 to 99 years in prison.

Jung’s co-defendant, Kenneth Pollard, is currently serving a 22 year sentence.
