She graduated from Birmingham Southern College in the spring, and now Sylacauga native Jordan Hardy, who built a reputation in golf, is taking her game to the next level.

After winning the Alabama State Amateur Championship and helping the Alabama team win second place in the national championship last year, Hardy will be playing in the Navistar LPGA event at Capitol Hill, a Robert Trent Jones course in Prattville, this week, testing her skills against noted LPGA regulars.

She tees off Thursday at 1:46 p.m. for the first round and 7:56 a.m. Friday for the second, which will be aired on the Golf Channel.

We encourage support of Hardy, who is continuing to make a name for herself and the area.
