Pell City’s Christian Love Pantry got a needed boost this month when ALIANT Bank decided to get involved.
Officials of the bank have been promoting a food drive to help stock the pantry, and they have been successful in their efforts.
Some 400 pounds of food have been donated at the bank, and officials are pushing for more.
Bank officials say they plan to make the food drive an annual event because it is needed and because they want to give back to the community.
We think they got it right on both counts, and we encourage donations to such as worthy cause.
