For the very first time, the city of Lincoln will hold its very own Christmas parade.

Set for Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m., the parade will travel down Magnolia Street from the veterinary office and end at First Avenue. Entry forms for floats, cars, walkers, convertibles, cars, bands and horses are available at the Lincoln City Center housed in the old Lincoln High School gym or online at www.lincolnpard.org.

The festivities are aimed at bringing the city together for a celebration of Christmas spirit, and we congratulate parks director Roben Duncan and the city for bringing this event about for citizens this holiday season.
