Alabama’s oldest Historically Black College has come a long way over the past couple of years.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Talladega College’s future was in question.

Today, it’s a completely different story for the famous school. Enrollment numbers are up and the campus continues to get a facelift and find new sources of much-needed revenue.

All of this is thanks to the dedicated leadership of school officials and hard work and cooperation by faculty, staff, students, alumni and the surrounding community.

Talladega College will mark its Founder’s Week the first week in November — and this year, aside from bringing famous people like Hollywood notables Robert Townsend and Myra J. Hughes here, the college has much to celebrate thanks to all the effort so many people have made to turn the school around.
