Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey climbed into a track hoe on Monday morning to start the demolition of the Lincoln Grandstands. Humphrey announced on Sunday that the track would feature wider seats and aisles for half of the grandstands on the frontstretch in time for the spring race. After the spring race, speedway officials will continue renovating the other half of the grandstands on the frontstretch.
