Thankfully, local education foundations are ready to step up and help out.
Tonight, the Talladega County Schools Foundation will be holding its fundraiser Gala and Art Auction at the Motorsports Hall of Fame SpeedChannel Dome.
The foundation does everything from hand out scholarships to deserving students to giving grants to schools and individual teachers.
The gala event tonight is a great way for the foundation to meet those goals every year. We applaud everyone who has helped put the event together and everyone who is coming out tonight to support our schools and our children.
