Lincoln Elementary holding a 'shoe drive'

Lincoln residents are being urged to help elementary school students with a much needed good deed.

Mrs. Whatley’s class at Lincoln Elementary is spearheading a Soles4Souls drive, inviting residents to drop off “gently worn” shoes that will be distributed to people in need. Victims of a natural disaster or those who live in extreme poverty will be the recipients of the recycled shoes.

It is a noble cause these children are involved in, and we encourage everyone to clean out their closets and help this project meet its goals.
