Each year, The Daily Home is proud to be a part of the Salvation Army Shoes for Christmas program. The newspaper partners with Salvation Army to raise money for shoes for needy children at schools throughout the coverage area.

Donations may be made at any of our three offices in Talladega, Sylacauga and Pell City, and we hope that you will join the effort. Many times, this is the first new pair of shoes some of these children ever receive.

Our partnership with Salvation Army is one we have treasured for decades because it helps those in need at a time of year when the emphasis should be on giving. In these tough economic times, the importance of such programs are paramount.

And it is our sincere wish that we all work together to make this the best Shoes for Christmas campaign ever.
