The event drew more than 100 entrants, whose registration fees benefited the Shocco Springs Missions Fund, which helps finance mission projects of the staff around the country and in other parts of the world.
In addition to the more than 500 groups Shocco attracts each year for meetings, conferences and retreats, this event helped bring more people into Talladega and into Shocco, giving them a firsthand look at what they have to offer.
It was a successful event for a worthwhile cause, and we congratulate organizers on a job well done.
