With a reputation as the ‘come as you are church’ on the banks of Logan Martin Lake, its summertime operation is well known by folks from all around.

But each Christmas Eve, the outdoor church holds a special service at 3 p.m., nestled under the trees that gave it its name.

Chapel in the Pines will again hold its Christmas Eve, non-denominational service with a short message and special singing. It is becoming a holiday tradition, and it gives the community a sense of unity with all churches coming together in one service.

It’s a time to share in the spirit of the season, and we thank Pell City First United Methodist Church and the other churches involved for providing the place and the service that attracts so many.
