She told us about births, deaths, weddings, honeymoons, travel and entertaining by people in all our communities. It was June we looked to in telling us what our neighbors were doing, what events were upcoming and how those events helped shape the towns and cities where we live.
In short, her words for 30 years kept us informed about all those things that add up to a thing we call “life.”
June retired Friday from doing the column she so ably crafted for three decades, and it will be missed. It was a part of the very fabric of our communities, and we thank June for a job well done and a retirement well earned.
