St. Clair County Sheriff Terry Surles said late Thursday his department was at the scene of the incident, but would not elaborate on any details. He said the investigation of the incident had been turned over to ABI.
The apparent shooting occurred around 3 p.m. on Manning Road. Manning Road is just outside Pell City in the Wattsville community.
