The Daily Home has now topped the 1,300-mark for fans on its Facebook pages — one for the regular newspaper and one dedicated exclusively for sports.

It is just one more tool that helps the newspaper reach readers. Gone are days when the print edition delivered to your home or mailbox was the only way to get the news.

The newspaper’s Web site, social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter, digital editions — the complete print newspaper online — are the newest avenues newspapers are traveling en route to their readers.

It is an opportunity to deliver information to readers when they want, where they want it and how they want it.

Thousands still read The Daily Home print edition every day, thousands more view us on our Web site and several hundred are beginning to use our digital edition.

We are glad to be able to serve our readership in a variety of venues. And we hope our readers will continue to seek us out — when they want, where they want and how they want.
