Students from R.L. Young Elementary School in Talladega raised $640 and presented the money to Pat Miller of the American Red Cross to help aid in the relief effort in Haiti. Each student donating money got a heart that they decorated and many wrote notes on the hearts to the children affected by last month’s devastating earthquake.
