The magazine analyzed 21,796 public high schools in 48 states and the District of Columbia, including 101 from Alabama. Of those, 1,750 nationally and 45 from Alabama – including our two schools — achieved a rank of Bronze or better. That’s pretty good company.
Other area schools on the list were Piedmont High School, Weaver High School, Wadley High School, and White Plains High School. The complete list and judgment criteria are on the magazine’s Web site, www.usnews.com.
Congratulations to all.
