Autumn Shea Putman and Skyler Seals came up with a plan for a new business that won a statewide competition, beating out students three years ahead of them in school. Their All Thumbs Access thumbprint-operated door lock business plan was judged the best in the state in Alabama’s first Be Entrepreneurial Business Plan Challenge, sponsored by Junior Achievement.
Putman, 15, and Seals, 14, were the youngest students in the competition. They donated their $300 in prize money to the LHS chapter of Future Business Leaders of America.
May this success be the first of many.
