Ever been paid to test-drive a new car? About 200 people in Pell City drove Fords around Pell City High School Saturday, and Town and Country Ford paid $20 for each one. The drivers didn’t get to pocket the money, however; it all went into a fund for the school’s athletic department. The event raised $4,100.

The dealership, new to Pell City, brought several new vehicles to the school for the fundraiser, and the vehicles brought out the community.

As Assistant Schools Superintendent Michael Barber and Town and Country’s General Sales Manager Doug Bailey agreed, the event was a fun way and innovative way for the business to support the school.
